Chronova AI Privacy Policy

Chronova AI is built by Ortiz Venture Holdings to help users organize goals, schedules, business notes, alerts, weather, and planning tools. This policy explains how the app handles information.

Data Collection

The app stores goals, events, business entries, alerts, settings, weather location, planner history, and focus-session state on the user's device. Connected services receive the information described below when their features are used.

Permissions and Optional Services

Calendar, device location, notifications, Google Calendar, Apple Health, and cloud AI use the permissions or credentials you choose to provide. Automatic weather loads a forecast for the saved place, or New York until you choose another location.

Local Storage and Credentials

API keys, OAuth tokens, and other sensitive settings use SecureStore on iPhone. The web version uses browser local storage. Users may remove connected accounts, permissions, or app data through the app settings or iOS settings.

Third-Party Services

Chronova AI contacts weather providers for automatic forecasts and may contact optional third-party services such as calendar, weather, news, or AI providers to complete the user's request. These services may process the information needed to provide their feature, such as a location for weather or calendar authorization for calendar sync.

Paired Apple Watch

When Chronova is installed on a paired Apple Watch, the iPhone sends day summaries, selected calendar or goal task titles and identifiers, task timing or category details, focus-session state, and appearance colors through Apple WatchConnectivity. Focus controls and their timestamps return to the iPhone. The apps retain snapshots and pending actions on their devices so sessions can continue and synchronize after reconnecting.

Apple Health

If the user chooses to connect Apple Health, Chronova requests read access to sleep stages, steps, walking and running distance, active energy, exercise and standing time, flights climbed, heart rate, resting and walking heart rate, heart-rate variability, breathing rate, blood oxygen, cardio fitness, sleeping wrist temperature, and workouts. You choose each permission. Body & Focus compares available records with the user's recent pattern on their iPhone and offers an optional focus-length suggestion. This is a planning aid, not a health or readiness score. While enabled, it sends a summary of available readings and their timestamps, sleep stages, workout totals, personal pattern text, and the suggestion to the paired Watch. Both apps retain the latest summary in their local synchronization snapshot for offline use. Turning Body & Focus off stops Health refreshes and removes the summary when the Watch next receives an update. Chronova does not write Health data or include Health readings in cloud AI planning. Health access can be managed or revoked in Apple's Health or Settings apps.

Cloud Planning

Planning runs on device when no AI key is configured. When a key is configured and the user requests a cloud plan, Chronova sends planner inputs and the request, calendar events, goals, business entries, notes, and available weather context to OpenAI to generate the result. The provider's processing is governed by its own policies.

Weather and Calendar Providers

Automatic forecasts use MET Norway. A city or ZIP entered on iPhone is geocoded by Apple; forecast requests send coordinates rounded to two decimal places to MET Norway. Until you choose a place, the app requests a public New York forecast. The latest forecast and last city lookup are cached on your device. If you configure WeatherAPI, that provider receives the selected place or coordinates and your API key instead. If the saved key is temporarily inaccessible, a labeled automatic MET Norway forecast is shown. Weather providers receive your IP address and may retain request logs under their own policies. MET Norway logs requests in Norway. Optional Google Calendar connections use Google authorization and calendar APIs. Forecast data is provided by MET Norway under CC BY 4.0; Chronova converts units and summarizes forecasts.

Purchases

Optional subscriptions are processed by Apple. Chronova reads the product and purchase status needed to activate or restore access. Payment card information is handled by Apple and is not received by Chronova.

Your Choices

You can use on-device planning without an AI API key. Remove optional provider keys or disconnect services to stop using those integrations. Manage calendar, location, notifications, and Health permissions in iOS Settings. The Day Simulator's energy check-in and focus history stay on your device. Deleting local data does not delete copies that an enabled provider is required or permitted to retain under its own policy; contact that provider for those requests.

Tracking and Advertising

Chronova AI does not use third-party advertising tracking and does not track users across apps or websites.
